"Journey Home, Celebrating "Sistahood"

NOVEMBER 15 - 18, 2007

We invite you to join us at the Embassy Suites in Monterey, California- Thursday, November 15th to Sunday, November 18th, 2007 for this herstorical event. This is going to be one of the most memorable Gatherings ever. Because you asked us to, we are starting our celebration on Thursday, November 15th.

This year the Gathering will offer you opportunities to attend our workshops focusing on Health, Spirituality, Financial and Self Empowerment. There will be time to walk on the beach, go to the Aquarium, shop, meet new sistahs and re-connect with old friends. Monterey is very beautiful in November, so plan ahead and register early as space is limited. You do not want to miss this event.

What a wonderful NIA experience 2007 will be, we guarantee it!  NIA is very proud that the legendary and amazing author Ms. Alice Walker will be our keynote speaker at NIA’s Banquet on Saturday night. Ms. Walker was awarded the Pulitzer Prize in fiction for the book The Color Purple.  Her other nationally recognized works include The Temple of My Familiar and Possessing the Secret of Joy. We are very honored and pleased to have her support.
